We are looking for a new colleague in the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) department at our location in Coimbatore, India.

 

Your tasks:

 

  • To support Supplier management in evaluation and selection of potential suppliers
  • To Lead part development process and coordinating part validation process through implementation of supplier readiness steps
  • To monitor and improve the supplier quality performance
  • To plan and execute supplier audits
  • To effectively implement change management, QD83 and problem-solving tools.
  • Supplier process improvements
  • Supplier training and development

 

     Your profile:

  • BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar with 4- 9 years of experience and minimum 3 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a quality assurance or process engineering (PEG) as well as knowledge about measurement and problem-solving techniques.
  • Supplier Audit Skills.
  • Knowledge on product and Manufacturing process.
  • Good exposure to AIAG Core tools – APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC.
  • Knowledge on SAP and other advanced software.
  • Knowledge on various measurement techniques.
  • Expert on problem solving techniques such as 8D, 6sigma etc.
  • Creative mindset with a CAN DO attitude who takes initiatives and is dedicated to realize the set goals.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
