Work Timing: 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM IST
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Work Location: ECR, Injambakkam, Chennai
Desired Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team! As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing complex mechanical systems. You will have the opportunity to solve problems in engineering design and participate in industry development.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience working with 3D Modelling softwares such as Fusion 360 , Solidworks, CREO
- Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modelling (any software)
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
- Able to interact well with vendors
- The ability to stay abreast of advancements in technology and engineering design trends.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and designing products and systems
- Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas
- Collaborating with other areas of the organisation, such as manufacturing and quality control
- Reviewing and providing feedback on the designs of other engineers
- Maintaining specifications, drawings and technical manuals
- Troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies and implementing new designs
- Collaborating with other departments to discuss the financial viability of designs, risk assessments and ensure designs that are economically viable
Candidates with the ability to commute to work in ECR, Injambakkam / MEPZ Tambaram / Maraimalai Nagar (based on the requirement in the factory) may immediately apply
