About the internship/job:

Selected intern's day to day responsibilities include: 1. Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs and apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials 2. Confer with equipment vendors and solicit observations from operators 3. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and research, design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment 4. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout 5. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods and test finished product and process capabilities 6. Establish standards and confirm manufacturing processes 7. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs 8. Review production schedules and estimate future requirements 9. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends 10. Provide manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests

  • are available for duration of 2 months
  • have already graduated or are currently in any year of study

Other requirements:

Diploma/B.Tech in mechanical or production engineering is desirable
